Shipping & Returns


We want you to be satisfied with your purchase and offer the following simple return policies for your benefit. These policies are subject to change anytime.

Taxes and shipping and handling are not included in any advertised prices on our products.

Non-Returnable Items:

Due to safety, legal, and regulatory reasons, our return policy does not apply to the following items:
Shipped Firearms (including any serialized items ex. lower receivers. See warranty policy for questions regarding replacement of manufacturing defects, etc.) If a firearm is not picked up from the destination dealer, the customer is responsible for the return shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee.


Returnable Items:

How do I start the return process?
For all non-firearm related returns, please email An agent will review your request for a return and respond within five business days. Please be sure to include your original order number, RMA number and relevant contact information.
For every returned item a 20% restocking fee will be applied, except in cases of manufacturing defects.


Restocking Fees:

3rd Gen Tactical requires a 20% restocking fees on all returned or canceled items, except in cases of a manufacture defect on the item. For every transaction that takes place, 3rd Gen Tactical is charged processing fees by the financial institutions, credit card processing companies, etc. The restocking fee is put in place in order to cover the processing costs imposed on 3rd Gen Tactical by the financial institutions, for us to refund your purchase. 


Can I cancel my order once it's been placed?

If you feel the need to cancel your order, you must do so within 72 hours from the time of purchase. Once 72 hours has passed, an item can not be cancelled or returned except for situations involving a manufacturing defect. To cancel your order, please email sales@3rdgentactical as quickly as possible to cancel your order. Once an order is canceled, you will receive an email confirming the cancellation and the refund will be issued to your account within 7 to 14 business days.


What about damaged/incorrect items? (not including non-returnable items listed above)

If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will ship you a replacement of the exact item upon receipt of the damaged or defective item. 3rd Gen Tactical will send you a return shipping label for the return.


What about return shipping costs?

If a 3rd Gen Tactical error causes the need to return an item or we are replacing a returned, defective, or incorrect item, then we will pay the associated shipping costs. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. When returning an item, please add package tracking and adequate insurance.


NOTE: We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insurance or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.
