frequently asked questions
What type of materials are used in 3rd Gen Tactical products?
We only use 7075 T-6 Aircraft Grade Billet Aluminum in all our products! This is equal to a mild steel in quality. Only the best!
What is the difference between billet aluminum lower, and a forged aluminum lower?
A forged lower is heated metal that has been pounded into a mold and doesn’t have the same strength as billet aluminum. By using billet aluminum in all our products, we ensure that the product is able to perform for generations to come.

How old do I need to be to purchase a firearm?
Federal Law requires that we cannot, under any circumstance, sell a firearm to anybody under the legal age for a firearm purchase. Once a firearm is purchased it must be sent to an authorized FFL dealer. The FFL dealer will then verify the age of the purchaser. Any firearm that has to be returned due to a violation of federal law, is subject to the return and re-stocking fee outlined in our Shipping & Return Policy. Please visit www.atf.gov for more information about the minimum age required to purchase a firearm.
Can I ship my new firearm to my house?
No! As mentioned above, a firearm must be shipped to a dealer with a Federal Firearms License. You, as the purchaser, are required to contact your local FFL dealer to arrange for the transfer and pickup of the firearm. You are also responsible for any transfer fees that may be required by the FFL dealer in order to transfer your purchase for pickup. You may select an authorized FFL dealer on our checkout page by entering your zip code when prompted.
